RMCI Fees & Terms

Course fees

The fee for the RMCI course is £2,250.00 (VAT exempt), including the examination. This includes the cost of the pre-course webinars, the supply of the RMCI Handbook in hard copy, two days of tuition, the half-day examination, plus lunch and refreshments at the venue. It is your responsibility to source suitable accommodation and to meet this cost along with your travel and subsistence. Please note, if you choose not to sit the examination, you will receive a certificate of attendance and record of studies only and cannot achieve the formal qualification. This means you will not become formally recognised, nor obtain the benefit of a five-year card and a listing on this website. Also included in the cost of your course is one years’ FREE Technician Membership of International Institute of Marine Surveying. To register your interest in a future course please complete the Course Application Form or call +44 23 9238 5223.

Deposit and payment terms

A non-refundable deposit in the sum of £500.00 is required to secure your place, with the remaining balance of £1,750.00 to be paid in full no later than 4 weeks before the commencement. We accept major debit and credit cards. We are happy to invoice companies directly, but once again the fees must be paid in accordance with the above. Once booked, the price of the course is guaranteed and will be free of surcharges.

Your place will be reserved on the course when we receive your booking confirmation and deposit. We reserve to the right to offer you an alternative course location (or a full refund) in the event we do not meet our minimum number of 8 delegates per course.

Non-attendance

If you do not attend a course for whatever reason and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

Late arrivals and missed sessions

If you arrive late for the course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you if the Course Director feels you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.
